International Symposium on Cereal Leaf Blights

The International Symposium on Cereal Leaf Blights (ISCLB) is a biannual event that brings together scientists, researchers, students and producers from around the world to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration on foliar cereal diseases. Focusing on crops such as wheat, barley, oats, and other cereals, ISCLB 2026 will address topics including pathogen evolution and population biology, disease management and epidemiology, pathogen functional genetics and genomics, host-pathogen interactions, host genetics and resistance breeding, effectors, secondary metabolism and other related topics.

Set in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, the Symposium will feature plenary talks, posters, panel discussions, and networking events – including a banquet and optional field day – with the goal to build lasting global partnerships.
